Medical technologies conference announces speaker lineup

The Emerging Medical Technologies conference scheduled for April 1 will feature a keynote address from former Kinetic Concepts CEO Cathy Burzik, now a general partner with Target Technologies.

Other speakers during the conference that will be held at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention center will include: Sean Thompson, vice president of business development for BioBridge Global; Ze’ev Shaked, president and CEO of Evestra Inc.; Eric Eisbrenner, chief financial officer and co-founder of Invictus; and Cynthia WalkerPeach, director of the Austin Technology Incubator.

The formal program will conclude with a “Rapid Fire Competition Pitch” chaired by Jim Traa, managing partner of Targeted Venture Management. Five startup firms will pitch their business ideas at this event and the winner will receives a $1,000 check.

The Emerging Medical Technology Conference is part of the two-day InnoTech Conference which is now in its seventh year. back
